I need to see the way to answer the argument essay : Like this question
Where can I find the way to update my self with this..and the example..
Not many young people living in rural areas have access to university education. Universities should make it easier for people from rural areas. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Hi Janine, in Ace the IELTS the writing chapter explains the structure of a hidden argument essay. So for example if you agree with the statement, you would do this (1-5 are numbers of paragraphs)
1. Introduction: explain the problem, why people from rural areas have no access to uni's and that it is possible for the uni to help these people.
2. First write why some people would disagree - because it's unfair to help people from rural areas just because they live there, after all it could have been their choice of life style, or say that any help will be at the expense of other students living in the city - which is unfair and doesn't give everyone equal opportunity for university education
3-4. Then write why you agree with the statement: because people in rural areas live far from the uni and need help with accommodation while they study, while city students can live with their parents, that people in the city earn more and can afford the tuition fees, while rural people can't, etc.
5. Summarize what was said above and write your own opinion.

must come from the research only , Is it true..??
Air travel uses enormous amounts of the world's limited supplies of fuel while creating very harmful pollution. Some people therefore say that travel by aeroplane should be limited to people going on business trips.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
I was sure, I must agree ..for this kind of the question

Hi Janine, I think you're being a little bit too 'strict' about this. They don't expect everyone to read studies and researches on all these subjects, the arguments can come from general knowledge, what you've heard in the media, read in a newspaper, not necessarily the research
